Bible Verses About Life: We read the Bible every day for the sake of gaining the growth of spiritual life. Then, how can we gain the life from God? 1. God is the truth, the way and the life. The words expressed by God is the fountain of the waters of everlasting life, which is the river of life which flows from His throne. Hence, only God’s words can bring us the eternal way of life.

John 11:25-26

Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Believe you this?

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.

2. We are in need of God’s words as our spiritual bread of life. Without God’s words, we would be so hungry and thirsty, and empty in the heart that we could not feel God’s presence and live in the darkness.

Matthew 4:4

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

3. God is the expresser of the truth and the source of life. God’s sheep hear God’s voice. Only those who always follow God and seek God’s words can gain the provision of the ever-flowing living water of life and keep up with God’s footsteps.
