1. Key to Obeying God Is to Accept the Newest Light

Verse 1

If you can’t accept new light and grasp God’s work today, and do not seek it or else doubt it, or pass judgment on it or scrutinize and analyze it, then you have no mind to obey God.

Verse 2

If, when the light of the here and now appears, you still treasure the light of yesterday and oppose God’s new work, you are nothing more than a joke. You’re one of those who deliberately oppose God.

Chorus

The key to obeying God is to accept the new light and be able to appreciate it. The key to obeying God is appreciating the new light and putting it into practice. The key to obeying God is practicing the new light. Only this is true obedience.

Verse 3

Those who do not have the will to thirst for God are incapable of being of a mind to obey God. They can only oppose God. They can only oppose God as a result of their satisfaction with the status quo.

Chorus

The key to obeying God is to accept the new light and be able to appreciate it. The key to obeying God is appreciating the new light and putting it into practice. The key to obeying God is practicing the new light. Only this is true obedience.

Bridge

Those who are without the slightest obedience to God, who merely acknowledge God’s name, and have some sense of God’s dearness and loveliness, yet don’t keep pace with the Holy Spirit, those who do not obey the present work or the present words of the Holy Spirit, such people just live amid God’s grace, will not be made perfect or gained by Him.

Chorus

The key to obeying God is to accept the new light and be able to appreciate it. The key to obeying God is appreciating the new light, and putting it into practice. The key to obeying God is practicing the new light. Only this is true obedience.

2. Obey God Become Flesh to Be Made Perfect

God incarnate wants to gain those after His heart. Do not live in vagueness but obey His work. Don’t be concerned with ideas of God in heaven or make things for God in the flesh difficult. Those who obey Him obey all of His plans. Those who obey Him listen to His words. They don’t mind what God in heaven does, what He’s like, they give all their heart to the God on earth. They place their entire being before Him. They never do think about their own safety. They never make a fuss ’bout God in the flesh, His normalcy and His practicality. Those who obey God in the flesh can be perfected, those who believe in God in heaven gain nothing. This is ’cause it’s God on earth, not God in heaven, who bestows promises and blessings on humans.

It’s unfair to magnify God in heaven and see God on earth as an average person. God in heaven’s great, wonderful and He’s wise. But God in heaven doesn’t exist at all. God on earth’s average and insignificant, He is very normal with no earth-shattering acts, and He has no extraordinary mind. He works, speaks in a normal, practical way. Although He does not speak through using thunder, He does not summon the wind and command the rain, He’s truly God in heaven’s incarnation, and He’s truly God living amongst humans. Those who obey God in the flesh can be perfected, those who believe in God in heaven gain nothing. This is ’cause it’s God on earth, not God in heaven, who bestows promises and blessings on humans.

3. How to Live Out an Obedient Life

Verse 1

Your statures are put to test to see if the church can be built and if you can obey each other. Viewed this way, your obedience is the kind you pick and choose. You may obey one, but find it hard to obey someone else.

Chorus

Ponder obedience and how to make it your life. Come before God, fellowship on this. Slowly you will know. You'll cast aside conceptions, letting go of choices within you.

Verse 2

There's no way to be obedient relying on human notions. But the thoughts of God will always surpass those of man. Christ obeyed 'till death and died on the cross, with no conditions or reasons, obeyed His Father's will.

Chorus

Ponder obedience and how to make it your life. Come before God, fellowship on this. Slowly you will know. You'll cast aside conceptions, letting go of choices within you.

Bridge

Your obedience is narrow. God says obedience is not obeying people on the outside, but rather, obeying life within, obeying God Himself. God's words change you from within. Otherwise, who'd obey whom? You all disobey others.

Chorus

Ponder obedience and how to make it your life. Come before God, fellowship on this. Slowly you will know. You'll cast aside conceptions, letting go of choices within you, within you.

4. I'm Willing to Submit to God’s Work

1 O God! May You do Your work in me, may You make me perfect and change me, so I may obey and know Your wishes in all things. There's Your great love and will in Your salvation of me. Although man resists and he rebels, although his nature is betrayal, today I understand Your will to save mankind. I will cooperate, cooperate with You. I beg You to provide me according to my stature, so I'll understand Your will no matter how I suffer. Won't rebel or complain, I will satisfy You. I'll completely obey, I'll completely obey.

2 O God! May You give me even more environments, trials and suffering, allowing me to behold Your hand when I'm in pain, allowing me to see Your deeds amid distress. I beg You to provide me according to my stature, so I'll understand Your will no matter how I suffer. Won't rebel or complain, I will satisfy You. I'll completely obey, I'll completely obey.

3 Though You test me greatly, I know my stature is small. Though You test me greatly, I know my stature is small. I beg You to provide me according to my stature, so I'll understand Your will no matter how I suffer. Won't rebel or complain, I will satisfy You. I'll completely obey, I'll completely obey. I'll completely obey, I'll completely obey.

5.God's Only Wish Is for Man to Listen and Obey

1 Since God created the world many years ago, He's done a great amount of work on this earth, He's suffered the worst of humanity's rejection and experienced numerous slanders. No one welcomed God's arrival on earth. They all brushed Him off with such disregard. He's suffered thousands of years of hardship. Man's conduct long ago broke His heart. He no longer pays attention to man's rebellion, but plans to transform and cleanse them instead. God's only wish is for man to listen and obey, to feel ashamed before His flesh and not resist. All He wishes for everyone, for all of us today, is to simply believe He exists.

2 God in the flesh has suffered enough derision and experienced exclusion and crucifixion; He has also endured the worst of man's world. Father in heaven couldn't bear to behold this. He threw back His head and shut His eyes to await the return of His beloved Son. God's only wish is for man to listen and obey, to feel ashamed before His flesh and not resist. All He wishes for everyone, for all of us today, is to simply believe He exists.

3 God stopped asking more of man long ago. The price He paid is already too high, and yet man continues to rest easy; to God's work they just turn a blind eye. God's only wish is for man to listen and obey, to feel ashamed before His flesh and not resist. All He wishes for everyone, for all of us today, is to simply believe He exists.

6.Obey the Work of the Spirit to Follow to the End

1 The Holy Spirit's work changes day to day, higher step by step with greater revelations. This is how God works to perfect mankind. If man cannot keep up, he may be left behind. Without a heart willing to obey, he cannot follow through to the end. Those who disobey by nature, oppose by will, they will be left behind, as God's work rushes on. Only those who obey, gladly humble themselves can progress to the end, to the end of the road.

2 The former age has passed, and this is a new age. When a new age comes, new work must then be done. And in the final age when God perfects man, God will work oh so fast, performing new work. And so without a heart that obeys, how difficult to follow in God's steps! Those who disobey by nature, oppose by will, they will be left behind, as God's work rushes on. Only those who obey, gladly humble themselves can progress to the end, to the end of the road.

3 God's work is not unchanging nor bound by rules, but it's ever newer, it is always higher. His work becomes more practical with each step, more and more in line with actual needs of mankind. Only when man's gone through this kind of work, can his disposition fin'lly change. Those who disobey by nature, oppose by will, they will be left behind, as God's work rushes on. Only those who obey, gladly humble themselves can progress to the end, to the end of the road.

4 Man's knowledge of life grows, and so God elevates His work. That's how God perfects man and makes him fit for God's use. His work fights, sets right man's notions, leads them to a higher, realer state, the highest realm of faith in God, so His will may be done. Those who disobey by nature, oppose by will, they will be left behind, as God's work rushes on. Only those who obey, gladly humble themselves can progress to the end, to the end of the road.

7.God Treasures Those Who Can Listen to and Obey Him

1 God doesn't care whether one is humble or great. As long as he listens to God, obeys what God orders and entrusts, can cooperate with His work, with His plan and His will, so that His will and plan can proceed without hindrance, such action is worthy of, worthy of God's remembrance, and worthy of receiving, receiving His blessing. God treasures such people, and cherishes their actions, and their love and affection for Him. This is God's attitude.
