This short film presents our attitude to matters. Sometimes, we often jump to conclusions before we clearly see the fact of the situation, and even have negative feelings, just like the boy in this short film. Since he gets no reply from the girl, he becomes angry and judges the girl to be arrogant, and then goes jogging. After he runs back, he gets to know that the girl is deaf from the painting and words on the paper she left. So the girl is not ignoring him deliberately, but cannot hear him at all. Only then does he feel ashamed, but the girl has already left. This kind of matter often happens in real life, not only to people, but also to some things. Sometimes, when we see something happen to somebody, or see some photos and read reports online, we’ll have our imaginations and opinions. But later we find the fact is not so, and there have already been so many misunderstandings and judgments. The same goes for the matter of believing in God. Take the’ work among man as an example—many people didn’t seek or study His work but listened to the rumors spread by the scribes and Pharisees, then condemned and blasphemed Him. At last they were all punished by God. What a painful lesson! So, no matter what we meet, we should seek more. Especially the belief in God, we should be more cautious and pray even more to seek God’s will. For we are unable to fathom God’s work, when God’s work is not in line with our views, we should seek, obey and accept, just as the Lord Jesus said: “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:3). If we jump to conclusions, then we’ll easily follow the tracks of the scribes, Pharisees and the masses of that time. And we can surely imagine what our end will be.
It is now the last days, and various prophecies about the Lord’s coming have already been fulfilled. Disasters are everywhere and grow more and more severe. These verses both tell us that there’s new gospel for us in the last days. come out to welcome the bridegroom with the light because of someone’s notification. So, if there’s someone spreading the new gospel to us, we should seek and study more, and see whether it is God’s voice, for the Lord Jesus once said, “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.” That is to say, there’s new word for us in the last days. What an important message it is! So in this crucial time, we should have a heart that reveres God, and carefully seek the appearance and work of the of the Lord Jesus.
