And whoever does not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

It is not so smooth on the way to following God. There are yet many trials and refinements, persecutions and tribulations. We are in need of confidence to follow God to the end, and the will to testify of God just like Job and Peter. No matter surroundings, we choose to satisfy God. God is the truth, the way, and the life, and the source of our life. His love for mankind is real. Therefore, having faith in God, we should not solely seek blessings, but seek for a pure love for Him and seek to live a meaningful life. Whether it be tribulations or harsh conditions, we should obey God’s teachings and make up our minds to follow Him.

Share God’s words: “‘Love,’ as it is called, refers to an emotion that is pure and without blemish, where you use your heart to love, to feel, and to be thoughtful. In love there are no conditions, no barriers, and no distance. In love there is no suspicion, no deceit, and no cunning. In love there is no distance and nothing impure. If you love, then you will not deceive, complain, betray, rebel, exact, or seek to gain something or to gain a certain amount. If you love, then you will gladly sacrifice and endure hardship, and you will become compatible with Me. You will give up your all for Me: your family, your future, your youth, and your marriage. Otherwise your love would not be love at all, but rather deceit and betrayal!
