And thisof the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come.
– Matthew 24:14
Thoughts on Today’s Verse…
This verse predicts that the end shall come when the gospel has been preached to the ends of the earth. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world” means when all nations have heard the gospel of the Lord, He will return (which doesn’t mean everyone has heard it or believed in Him.) After thecompleted the redemptive work through His crucifixion, the Lord Jesus’ disciples began to spread the gospel. Later, with the emergence of the Internet, the Holy Spirit began to lead God’s chosen people to testify the Lord Jesus through the radio stations, networks, books, gospel tracts, missionary work and so on. Even in China, which is ruled by an atheist party, many people have accepted the gospel of the Lord Jesus. Therefore, the gospel of the Lord Jesus’ redemption of mankind has spread to the ends of the universe. Dear brothers and sisters, just think about this: Is there any country or region in the world where people haven’t heard the gospel of the Lord Jesus? The last days have already come!
Share a passage of God’s words, “Only when I pass into the new heaven and earth shall I reveal the other part of My glory first in the land of Canaan, causing a glimmer of light to shine forth in the whole earth, sunk in pitch-dark night, so that the whole earth will come to the light. Let men all over the earth come to draw strength from the power of the light, allowing My glory to increase and appear anew to every nation. Let all humanity realize that I have long ago come to the human world and long ago brought My glory from Israel to the East; for My glory shines from the East, where it was brought over from the Age of Grace to this day.”
