Unconsciously, I have gone through over 20 years carefreely, but I never paid attention to the beauty of the four seasons. When I stop my busy footsteps and quiet my heart to appreciate them, I find that the four seasons are full of vigor and have their special beauty. Spring brings all things a new beginning and makes the life of various flowers and trees continue. It brings vitality and hope to the entire world. Summer presents a flourishing and thriving picture. It brings all living things into full bloom. Autumn is the harvest season. Through the nourishment and growth in spring and summer, a kind of mature beauty of all things appears before people. It makes all things have the best harvest in a year. In winter, all things no longer have the vitality of spring, the blooming flowers and flourishing leaves of summer, or clusters of fruits of autumn, but winter has a kind of mysterious and subtle beauty…. I can’t help sighing with emotion: Where do the beautiful four seasons stem from? Who bestows life force upon them? Who makes them so regular and miraculous? After reading Almighty God’s words, I find the answer.
Almighty God says, “On the micro level, all the mountains, rivers, lakes, seas, and landmasses that man beholds on earth, all the seasons that he experiences, all the things that inhabit the earth, including plants, animals, microorganisms, and humans, are subject to God’s sovereignty, are controlled by God. Under God’s sovereignty and control, all the things come into being or disappear in accordance with His thoughts, their lives are all governed by certain laws, and they grow and multiply in keeping with them. No human being or thing is above these laws.” (from Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh)
“‘And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth: and it was so.’ While God was speaking, all these things came into being following the thoughts of God, and in an instant, an assortment of delicate little life forms were unsteadily poking their heads up through the soil, and before they had even shaken the bits of dirt from their bodies they were eagerly waving to each other in greeting, nodding and smiling to the world. They thanked the Creator for the life that He bestowed upon them, and announced to the world that they were a part of all things, and that they would each devote their lives to showing forth the authority of the Creator. As the words of God were spoken, the land became lush and green, all sorts of herbs that could be enjoyed by man sprang forth and broke from the ground, and the mountains and plains became thickly populated by trees and forests…. This barren world, in which there had not been any trace of life, was rapidly covered by a profusion of grass, herbs and trees and overflowing with greenery…. The fragrance of grass and the aroma of the soil spread through the air, and an array of plants began to breathe in tandem with the circulation of the air, and began the process of growing. At the same time, thanks to the words of God and following the thoughts of God, all the plants began the perpetual life cycles in which they grow, blossom, bear fruit, and multiply. They began to strictly adhere to their respective life courses, and began to perform their respective roles among all things…. They were all born, and lived, because of the words of the Creator. They would receive the unceasing provision and nourishment of the Creator, and would always tenaciously survive in every corner of the land in order to show forth the authority and power of the Creator, and they would always show forth the life force bestowed upon them by the Creator….” (from Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh)
“Anyway, whatever work God does is for mankind, just as the heavens and the earth and all things created by God are for serving man. He created the moon, the sun, and the stars for man, created animals and plants for man, made spring, summer, autumn, and winter for man, and so on. He did all these for man’s existence.” (from The Word Appears in the Flesh)
words make me understand that God used the word to create all things and set the law of the four seasons. Under God’s control, the four seasons abide by the law: In spring, plants bud; in summer they bloom; in autumn they bear fruit; and in winter they are in sleep. Although their living environments and functions are different, they exist to show forth the authority of the Creator. Under the Creator’s sovereignty, all things, including the four seasons, are fulfilling their own missions: being of service to the existence of mankind. It can be seen all that the Creator does is for the sake of man, and God’s love for man truly exists!
