Psalm 30:11- Finding True Happiness

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing: you have put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

– Psalm 30:11

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

Many of us think that we will be happy if we have money and power along with a good life. However, it can be seen that people who have money and positions are still not happy in real life. Many of us have this kind of experience: There’s too much sorrow in our life, and it’s definitely impossible to be happy. Then how can we find real gladness? This verse gives us the answer. In fact, gladness comes from God. God can turn sorrow into gladness. It’s also recorded in 1Thessalonians 5:16-18, “Rejoice ever more. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks.” God is almighty. As long as we pray more, asking God to lead us when encountering things, we will be able to cast off any sorrow by relying on the strength from God.

Because of God’s salvation, several Christians mentioned below all have cast off their suffering and found true happiness, and live happily and freely now. Share with you their testimonies.
