Jeremiah 32:27 – The Power of God

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

– Jeremiah 32:27

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

When Babylon’s army besieged Jerusalem, the prophet Jeremiah intended to leave for Benjamin to buy the field. In that chaotic situation, nobody would buy land. But Jeremiah believed God’s promise, and he prayed to Him, “there is nothing too hard for you.” This verse is God’s answer to his prayer. Until now, God’s word still touches our hearts and has been a source of huge encouragement to us. There are many similar words: “With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” “With Me, everything shall be steady and secure; with Me, all shall be done appropriately and properly, without consuming the slightest effort. I speak and it is established; I speak and it is done.

Recall that God led the Israelites across the Red Sea and helped them smite the city Jericho in seven days without an army, and the signs and wonders Jesus performed, and so on, which makes us feel the real existence of God’s authority. He controls all things with His authority and power. Hence, we can count on God without worries and allow Him to accompany us to go through every journey. After experiences, we will taste that there’s nothing too hard for God.

O God, You’re the Almighty, and nothing is impossible for You. Your words give us faith and power. No matter tribulations or frustrations, may we trust in You with a true heart. Amen!
