Ten Thousand Reasons (10,000 Reasons) (Bless the Lord)by Matt Redman
We have so many reasons to praise God every day. Except for praising God when we gain blessings from Him, will you also praise God when you are in pain, facing difficulties and don’t understand God’s will?
Praising God With Heart Needs No Reasons
God! I praise You, praise Your holy name without ceasing. This hymn deeply encourages me. It not only sings my heart out, but expresses created beings’ heartfelt praise to the Creator. God created the heaven and earth and all things, and rules over all things. He blesses us with the truth, the way, and the life. Only God deserves praise and glory. We are willing to love Him, worship Him and praise Him without any reasons!
Thesays, “And they sung a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation” (Rev 5:9). “Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write on him my new name” (Rev 3:12).
When the Lord returns in the last days, new Jerusalem will come down out of heaven; God will open the new scroll, have new name and lead those who are redeemed by Him to sing new songs. I believe that will be the most wonderful songs, because we have attended the wedding feast of the Lamb, been raptured before the throne, entered the new heaven and earth, began the new life and seen the glory of the Lord.
Let’s praise God’s holy name forever!
